Vision
Lakin is a family-friendly community that takes pride in its clean and pleasant environment. Lakin is an affordable place to live and a town where visitors feel welcomed and want to return.
Mission
To promote and maintain an environmentally friendly and affordable community through volunteer support in partnership with other community entities; while providing opportunities for recreational activity for residents of all ages and stages of life.
Goals
These project goals have been accomplished:
Thornbrough Park playground, frisbee/disc golf, horseshoe pits
Lakin PRIDE is currently in strategic planning for the development of new goals.
Meetings
Regularly scheduled meetings are on the 2nd Wednesday.
